***Latest News*** December 2011- Mr.
Burgar's record of success continues in the
month of December, including the very
unusual occurence of two verdicts of NOT
GUILTY in the same day in seperate cases. In
the first case, the client was charged with
DUI from an incident is East Point, and in the
second case, a different client was accused
of driving under the influence of alcohol in
Johns Creek. Mr . Burgar also obtained the
dismissal of DUI charges against a client
accused in Cobb County to finish the year on
a very positive note.

***Latest News*** November 2011-Multiple
wins for the clients of attorney Marko L.
Burgar during the monthe of November! Mr.
Burgar obtained a NOT GUILTY verdict after
trial for DUI charges that orginated in
Alpharetta. Mr. Burgar also obtained the
dismissal of DUI charges against a client
charged with driving under the influence of
marijuana, and the dismissal of DUI charges
against a client accused of having a BAC of
.098.

October 2011-Another successful defense of a
DUI case by Marko Burgar! We obtained the
dismissal of DUI charges against a client
arrested in Atlanta and charged with having
a blood alcohol content of .174.

September 2011-Two more successful DUI
defenses! Attorney Marko Burgar extracted a
dismissal of DUI and Fleeing and Eluding
charges filed against a client in Atlanta. It
was alleged the client had a blood alcohol
content of .130, but the evidence strongly
suggested involuntary intoxication and being
dosed with GHB. In a second case, a
different client was charged with having a
blood alcohol content of .113 in a South
Fulton County jurisdiction. In this case the
defense was based on a wrongful stop by the
officer.

August 2011-Two successful defenses of
DUI-drug cases for Marko Burgar! Mr. Burgar
obtained the complete dismissal of DUI
charges levied against a client in Marietta,
Georgia, where the client stood accused of
driving under the influence of marijuana and
GHB. Later in Atlanta, Mr. Burgar obtained
the dismissal of DUI charges against a
different client accused of driving while
under the influence of Ambien and Lioresal.

***Latest News***July 2011-Marko L. Burgar,
P.C. introduces Gladys Gibbons as a new
member of our team. Ms. Gibbons brings a
wealth of experience to our firm having
been with Office of the Solicitor for both
Atlanta Municipal Court and Atlanta City
Court, where she was an integral member of
their DUI prosecution staffs.

July 2011-WE'VE MOVED! We are pleased to
annouce that our new main office has been
completed at 7 Piedmont Center, Suite 408,
which is at 3525 Piedmont Rd., Atlanta, GA

offices throughout the metro Atlanta area for

July 2011-Attorney Marko Burgar successfully
negotiated the dismissal of DUI charges for a
client in a DeKalb County court. We
appreciate the consideration given by the
prosecutor, who took the time to review the
evidence we presented which showed this
was not a case ripe for prosecution.

June 2011-We secured the complete
dismissal of DUI charges agains a client
accused of having a BAC of .092 in a western
Atlanta suburb.

April 2011-In concert with several colleagues,
Attorney Marko Burgar secured a $2.7 million
judgment in a multi-state fraud matter.

April 2011-Attorney Marko Burgar was
successful in earning the dismissal of felony
Computer Tresspass charges against a client
in a suburban Atlanta county.

April 2011-A very good month for the clients
of Marko L. Burgar, P.C.! Attorney Marko
Burgar favorably resolved several cases
where clients had been charged with DUI.
These included a dismissal of DUI charges
against a client accused of having a BAC of
over .250, the dismissal of DUI charges
against a client accused of having a BAC of
over .080, and the dismissal of DUI charges
against a client accused of having a second
offense within three years.

***Latest News***March 2011-ANOTHER CASE
DISMISSED! Marko Burgar obtained the
dismissal of all charges against our client in
Cobb County State Court. Our client was
accused of DUI and other charges.

February 2011-CASE DISMISSED! Marko
Burgar secured the dismissal of DUI and all
other charges filed against our client in a
south Fulton County court. The questionable
legitimacy of the crime lab reports and the
mysterious absence of hospital records
associated with the case were matters Mr.
Burgar used to assist our client.

January 2011-NOT GUILTY! After a
contentious trial concerning battery charges
in a newsworthy case in the Coweta County,
the jury returned a verdict of Not Guilty,
acquitting our client.

December 2010-Two successful resolutions
obtained by Marko Burgar. In both a
Gwinnett County and South Fulton County
municipality, Mr. Burgar obtained a
reduction of charges from DUI with very
favorable terms that obviated the need for
jury trials.

November 2010-Another success for attorney
Marko Burgar, who obtained the dismissal of
alcohol-related charges levied against a
client in the City of Smyrna.

October 2010-Marko Burgar successfully
obtains a reduction of charges for a client
who had been accused of DUI in a South
Fulton municipality. In a curious set of facts,
the officer attepted to investigate to different
drivers for DUI at the same time!

August 2010-In a joint effort with colleague
Jim Michael, attorney Marko Burgar
successfully negotiated for the reduction of
DUI charges in DeKalb County. Although the
arresting officer was a 2009 MADD "DUI
Hero", we were able to convince the state of
the weakness of their case.

Burgar! After over two years of litigation,
Marko Burgar successfully earned the
dismissal of all charges against a client
accused of DUI with a .130 BAC in the Atlanta
Municipal Court.

July 2010-Attorney Marko Burgar successfully

against a client charged with DUI in Gwinnett
County, Georgia.

July 2010-The Law Firm of Marko L. Burgar is
pleased to announce the opening of its new

June 2010-Attorney Marko Burgar defended
our client against DUI charges in Cobb
County. It took a considerable effort, but the
firm was successful in convincing the State
to abandon DUI charges and to resolve the
case under lesser charges.

June 2010-Attorney Marko Burgar, after 26
months of litigation, successfully obtained
the full and complete dismissal of DUI
charges levied against a client in Fulton
County. Our client had been accused of
being a DUI driver with a BAC of .109.

May 2010-Attorney Marko Burgar had another
successful effort in securing the dismissal of
drug possession charges by a client in a
metro Atlanta county. The State had insisted
on a stiff jail sentence for our client, but Mr.
Burgar's persistent defense led to the
discovery that the State had no idea what
they did with the supposed drug they found!

April 2010- In another fantastic effort,
attorney Marko Burgar helped our client
avoid a conviction for DUI in Cobb County,
Georgia. In an unusual set of facts, client had
been accused of both prowling houses and
DUI. The attorney Marko Burgar successfully
argued that the evidence of the DUI was not
appropriately obtained, leading to the
dismissal of that component of the case.

April 2010- After 22 months of effort, attorney
Marko Burgar successfully saw that DUI
charges against his client in Atlanta were
dismissed.

March 2010-Another success for attorney
Marko Burgar, who secured the dismissal of
DUI and Reckless Driving charges against our
client in Fulton County, Georgia! Our client
had been accused of DUI while driving 102
mph.

March 2010-Attorney Marko Burgar continues
his success in defending clients wrongfully
accused of drug offenses. Attorney Marko
Burgar secured the dismissal of an
indictment of our client in the Superior Court
of Henry County. Our client had been
arrested for Possession of Marijuana with
Intent to Distribute. Mr. Burgar was
successful in convincing the parties that our
client was uninvolved and wrongfully
accused.

January 2010-Another success for attorney
Marko Burgar! After over a year of stubbornly
litigating a drug possession charge in a
metro Atlanta county, Mr. Burgar obtained a
full dismissal of all charges for our client.
Our client was charged with drug possession
when the driver of a car he had ridden in
was arrested for DUI. Marko Burgar was able
to show a lack of connection between the
two parties and the dubious tactics of the
arresting officers in associating our client
with the incident.

January 2010-A huge success for attorney
Marko Burgar in defending a client accused
of Rape and Aggravated Sexual Battery in a
suburban Atlanta jurisdiction. With client was
facing a life sentence, we undertook an
expansive investigation of the circumstances
of his case which allowed us to present a
defense based on the manner of
transmission of sexually transmitted
diseases, which presented a powerful case
that our client could not have been involved
in the alleged assault. Combined with our
location and identification of several key
witnesses, this defense led to the State
abandoning sexual assault charges against
our client, leaving us with only with
relatively minor charges to resolve.

January 2010-A solid effort by attorney Marko
Burgar led to the state abandoning a DUI
charge against our client in Cobb County. It
was shown that while there was a serious
accident and the client had a history of DUI,
there was simply not enough evidence to
prove he was DUI on this occasion.

January 2010-After 23 months of litigation,
attorney Marko Burgar obtained the
dismissal of DUI and Minor in Possession of
Alcohol charges levied against our client in
Paulding County, Georgia. Mr. Burgar proved
more stubborn than the prosecution in
outlasting the state in defense of charges we
viewed as entirely inappropriate given the
known facts of the case.

November 2009-After 18 months of litigation,
attorney Marko Burgar obtained the
dismissal of DUI charges in Atlanta that had
been levied against our client. The result
allowed our client, a U.S. Soldier, to accept
deployment to Afghanistan, a challenge that
had been delayed as a result of the state's
prosecution. We wish our client Godspeed
and a safe return upon the completion of this
tour.

September 2009-Attorney Marko Burgar
obtained the prompt reduction of DUI
charges for a client accused in a suburban
Atlanta county. In a case that on the surface
seemed to be a vanilla DUI and an easy win
for the State, Mr. Burgar uncovered a wholly
incompetent investigation on the part of the
arresting officers and quickly obtained
concessions from the prosecutors. The client,
eager to resolve her case, accepted the
state's offer to plead to a traffic offense
rather than wait for trial.

July 2009- After nearly a year of litigation,
attorney Marko Burgar secured the reduction
of DUI charges in a southern Atlanta county
Clayton County. A strong win at a pretrial
hearing led to the excellent compromise
result that saved the client's job and driver's
license.

June 2009- A attorney Marko Burgar
negotiated the complete dismissal of DUI and
related charges against a metro Atlanta
client. Mr. Burgar illustrated the excellent
field performance of the client, as well as the
dubious tactics of the arresting officer in
convincing the state to abandon the
prosecution

June 2009- Attorney Marko Burgar secured
the dismissal of DUI charges that had been
levied against a client in Atlanta. Mr. Burgar
successfully argued the alleged evidence of
impairment due to alcohol was
indistinguishable from the normal symptoms
expected from injuries due to a severe
accident.

May 2009- Attorney Marko Burgar obtained
the complete dismissal of charges against a
client accused in Gwinnett County of
possession with intent to distribute
methamphetimine and ecstasy, and
possession of clonazapam (Klonopin). Our
client's co-defendant was convicted and
sentenced to ten years in prison.

April 2009- Another NOT GUITY jury verdict
for a client of Marko Burgar. In a suburban
Atlanta matter, attorney Marko Burgar
successfully argued to the jury that the arrest
videotape of our client completely
contradicted the prosecutor's suggestion that
the accused was a less safe driver due to the
influence of alcohol.

March 2009- Attorney Marko Burgar secured
the dismissal of DUI and related charges
against a client accused of Driving Under the
Influence in Atlanta. Mr. Burgar was able to
establish the complete lack of evidence
suggesting the accused was intoxicated.

February 2009- Attorney Marko L. Burgar
obtains the dismissal of DUI charges against
an young driver after over two years of
litigation in the Fulton County State Court.

October 2008- Another win for attorney Marko
L. Burgar, earning a jury verdict of NOT
GUILTY for his client. Our client, who was
under 21 years old at the time of the
incident, was accused of driving with a blood
alcohol content of .161 and rear-ending
another car. After three years of litigation in
Fulton County State Court, Mr. Burgar
succeeded in getting this matter before a
jury, who gratefully returned a verdict of not
guilty, exonerating our client of the
accusation of DUI.

October 2008- Attorney Marko L. Burgar
successfully obtains a new trial on appeal for
a client convicted of DUI in a Fulton County
municipality. Mr. Burgar was asked to argue
the appeal by a colleague in a case where
the client was alleged to have had a BAC of
.097. Mr. Burgar successfully asserted
procedural errors that required that the client
be given a new trial.

September 2008-Attorneys Marko L. Burgar
successfully argued for the withdrawal of DUI
charges against an under-21 driver in
Paulding County. Our firm was able to
distinguish our client from the three other
co-defendants who were ultimately
convicted of DUI. Our client was accused by
the officer of having a blood alcohol content
of .111.

August 2008- Attorney Marko L. Burgar
convinces the prosecutor and court in a
DeKalb County municipality not to proceed
with DUI charges against our client. Mr.
Burgar successfully showed the evidence
would not likely result in a conviction of the
accused.

July 2008-Attorney Marko L. Burgar secures
the dismissal of DUI charges entered in
DeKalb County against a client accused of
driving under the influence of marijuana.

June 2008- Attorney Marko L. Burgar and
successfully argues for the dismissal of DUI
charges entered in Cobb County against a
client accused of driving under the influence
of marijuana.

June 2008- Attorney Marko Burgar negotiated
an over $500,000 resolution of a client's
workers compensation claim for an incident
where the client sustained a burst fracture of
his spine. This settlement concluded over
three years of litigation concerning the
employer's resistance to fully compensating
our client.

February 2008-Attorney Marko Burgar
secures the dismissal of drug trafficking
charges against a client in Fulton County
Superior Court. The client was facing a
minimum sentence of ten years to serve and
a $200,000.00 fine. Our client was the only
one of several co-indictees to be cleared of
all charges. The matter involved a two-year
investigation into alleged cocaine
distribution in North Fulton County.

August 2007- Attorney Marko Burgar
represented a major Peachtree City
developer in the sale of over 300 acres to a
Chinese industrial firm. A $30 million facility
will be built on the site for the manufacture
of heavy equipment and later the company
headquarters and research facility. This deal
not only brings a substantial employer to the
community, but is also structured to preserve
the unique character of the Peachtree City,
Georgia.

January 2007-Attorney Marko L. Burgar
secures the acquittal of client charged with
DUI in Fulton County State Court. The client
was alleged to have had a blood alcohol
content of .124.

May 2006- Attorney Marko L. Burgar secures
the dismissal of DUI charges in the Atlanta
Municipal Court. The state did not have
sufficient evidence to a charge a visiting
Louisiana resident with the offense.

December 2006- Attorney Marko L. Burgar
successfully negotiates the dismissal of
Terroristic Threats charges levied against our
client in Fulton County Superior Court.

December 2006-Attorney Marko Burgar,
secures an over $1,000,000 recovery for
automobile accident victim who sustained
complex spinal injuries.
